Ian’s Blog 25th May 2025
We had a rehearsal on Monday which went really well despite not having rehearsed for the previous two weeks. The previous rehearsal had been cancelled because Lord Zarquon had been ill with man flu.
On Friday we had tea and a nice meal in Exeter with Philippa Langley and John and Jo Dike. I was able to show Philippa the lovely stained glass window of Richard III which is in a hotel in Queen Street in Exeter. After the meal Philippa, John and Jo went to Waterstones for Philippa’s talk about her missing Princes research.
Yesterday we drove to Coldridge and took part in the dedication of the Edward V stained glass window event. We performed a selection of our Ricardian Songs with Lord Zarquon on his Memotron keyboards. Our set included the song about Philippa Langley which she enjoyed hearing at the event. After that we enjoyed listening to Philippa’s talk in the church about her missing Princes research. It was a really well organised event and it was nice to see that some of my Ricardian friends were there.
